The Bureau of Economic and Business Research presents the ninth edition of the Statistical Abstract of Utah, 1983. The basic goal of this document is to bring together the data most often requested in a readily available format. During an average year, hundreds of calls and personal visits are made to the Bureau by government agencies, business firms, households, other organizations and individuals, for help in locating and interpreting data on a wide range of subjects and problems relating to the Utah economy. Beginning in 1947 with the first edition of the Statistical Abstract of Utah, the Bureau staff has tried to incorporate in succeeding editions of the publication, the data elements which the users have found most valuable. |
