Anderson Park at Green River will witness the dedication of an "action" mxJdel of the U.S. Army's Loki Dart launch. The display in the park will portray the three phases, of a typical launch. Master of ceremonies at the program to which the public is invited will be M/Sgt. James W. Wolfe. Lt. Col. John .£. Yepsen will be the principal speaker and A. Marry Maughan, missile base commander, will add a few remarks. The display .will be accepted on behalf of th,e city by Mayor Ray Lloyd Hatit,! ' Since Feb. 5, 1964, when the first Loki was launched, 199 have been fired in support of the Athena and Pershing launchings. The first Loki was fired from the Green River base. |
