Title |
Discipleship in the nuclear era |
Date |
1987 |
Description |
NUCLEAR WEAPONRY HAS PRESENTED THE greatest challenge and threat to humanity and to Christian belief in world history. Some of these problems are deep but are not unique to the nuclear era: Under what conditions-if indeed any at all-may one human being justifiably take another's life? Other problems, while not uniquely caused by nuclear weapons, are raised to a level of probability and scope never before seen. Genocide is an international crime which carries with it no conceivable justification or mitigation. |
