Description The Stansbury Range is located in the eastern part of Tooele County, Utah, in the northeastern part of the Basin and Range Province. The range is 25 miles long and 2 to 10 miles wide. The crest line passes about 5 miles west Grantsville, Utah. The range is considered to be a northward extension of the Onaqui Mountains and is separated from these mountains to the south by a low divide known as Johnson Pass.
