Description |
"This Utah state flag design incorporates a large snow covered mountain on the bottom with a dark blue sky above. People flock from all over to enjoy the winter sports in the Utah mountains. The star symbol in the center with its three points on top represent a snowflake. The bottom part of the star represents a sun. Both winter snowflakes and summer sun attract visitors for endless outdoor recreation. Also, the dark orange color of the bottom of the star (sun) hearkens to the southern Utah color. Hence the southern portion of the star colored orange and the northern portion of the star colored white for the snow capped mountains in the north." |
