Utah State Flag Submission 2022 Light blue background representing the open sky covering all of Utah. Dark blue circle in the center representing the togetherness of all who reside here. Desert orange border representing the rich earth of our state that is so giving. The large white U at the top represents that Utah is strong and bold. This U is intentionally larger that the other white letters as it represents all Utah has to offer. The inside the large U is a smaller U representing Unity of all. The U's then change direction around the circle and become letters representing core parts of what it is to be a Utahn. The white D that comes from the left Stands for Developing. As this state is continually experiencing development with its people, land and spirit. The smaller grey D inside of the large D on left is for determination of all who live here. The large white C going off the edge of the circle on the right, represents community. The smaller grey C on the inside of the large C is for the compassion within the community. The large N (n) at the bottom of the circle is for the beautiful Nature we all enjoy here in Utah. The smaller grey n inside the large N is for nurturing this home and land that we have. The bubble of the each letter presses forward toward the dark blue center circle of inclusion and togetherness. Finally the desert orange star in the center represents the inclusion and participation of Utah with the rest of the United States of America.
