Description |
"This design contains beehives with open doors (communities or industries that work together) and the beehives are also mountains. And let's not forget that we have a very noticeable lake unlike any other state. So the navy color and shape serves multiple purposes -- beehive reflected as an arch (beauty of our national parks), flowing water into the design from outside (our welcoming state), and from a distance the navy is a serving platter which represents the great service and integrity the people of Utah are known for. It was off centered intentionally to create unique space, kind of like how our capital and greater population are not in the central part of the state and we have wide open spaces. The upside down arch also becomes a U for Utah. Colors represent integrity, warmth, and industriousness. Don't you think this concept has the ability to distinguish Utah and can be designed multiple ways?" |
