The reason why my student Valeria chose gray for the mountains is because that's how they can look in the moonlight and the clear blue of the morning. The represents the Utah skies, as well as the tranquility and community we share in Utah. The mountains represent home because she sees them every day, and the circle represents the sun and moon that often share the same sky here.
