Description |
"The cross-section represents Utah as the crossroads of the West, as the state was pivotal in helping settlers migrate westward. The red is representative of the red rocks found throughout southern Utah. The gold ring represents wealth and unity. The color is also the same shade of gold used in the current flag. The blue represents the Great Salt Lake. The white represents the snow and mountains that Utah is famous for. Another meaning of this flag is that the four sections and the beehive represent the five major Native American Tribes within Utah, all united by a blue ring." |
