"This flag represents pioneer industry and our indigenous roots. The beehive symbolizes the vast community of our Beehive State. The red and gold circles surrounding the hive represents the sun, a symbol central to the traditions of the indigenous tribes native to this area. The navy pale represents liberty and the vast sky that we are all united under, paying homage to the same color in the original Utah Flag." |
