Description |
Orange- southern utah red rock Blue- lakes and sky White- snow and mountains Gold- gold spike, beehive The colors are unique (not used by other states, whereas royal/navy blue and red are overused in state flags) as well as complimentary. The gold hexagon incorporates the beehive theme, and the hexagon is one of the most fascinating shapes mathematically and structurally. The star respresents Utah's statehood. The blue represents our vital lakes and the sky of our great outdoors. The white is our snow and mountains as well as the state flower (sego lily) and bird (seagull). The orange is our incredible southern region and it's natural amazements. |
