Description |
The glad design I drew is representing American Indian/ Native American culture. First the colors around the flag represents the Native American medicine wheel colors that represent a meaning and directions, black represents interconnectedness and the direction West, White is balance and respect and direction North, Yellow represents interrelationships and direction South and Red represents wholeness (spiritual) direction East. Then I added the state flower the Sego Lily and the beehive. Last the green plant around the beehive also is used in Native American culture and it is Sweetgrass that is used by many tribes in prayers and also symbolizes healing, peace and spirituality |
