Description |
"Beehive Flag". The colors are the colors most associated with bees. Additionally, the beehive represents the principle of hard work, as well as its industrial spirit. 1847 is the year that Mormon Pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley, and 1891 is the year Utah became a state. Outline in the flag is the shape of Utah, with the beehive being at the location of the Salt Lake City, signifying its location as Utah's capitol. |
