Description |
The background color "Glacier Blue) represents the hot springs green color in Utah. Utes, is a term meaning "upper people" or "hill dwellers". The Ute name for themselves as a people is "Noochee" - meaning "the people. Therefore, Utahns are known as "People of the Mountains". Utah comes from the Ute tribe and means "People of the Mountains". It is known that anywhere that you stand in Utah you will always see a mountain. My view of Utah is that the mountains represent a place where a particular cause or belief is strongly defended or upheld. That is our values, religion, families, and hard work. |
