Description |
The blue represents the northern part of state with Utah Lake, Great Salt Lake, and Bear Lake. The red represents southern Utah, our red rock country. The white represents our greatest snow on earth. The beehive is our state symbol. It is colored in gold in a nod to the golden spike which made us the crossroads of the west. The symbol is flanked with our mountains as its backdrop. It is outlined in a circle showing the unity of everyone belonging to one Utah within the hive. |
