I feel the state should cover these four basis; 1) wanted to incorporate one of the all time most important symbols of the state, a beehive, by the honeycomb around the Sego Lily. 2) The Lily itself referring to not only the beauty of the state, but it's white also referring to Utah's snow. 3) I wanted to have two of the main flag colors referencing the main colors of our country's flag, as it symbolizes Utah's allegiance to it's union, with the red and white stripes. 4) And lastly, I feel the three colors of the flag be the three "primary" colors (red, yellow, blue - also fitting, with yellow being the true color in reference to bees/hive), to symbolize not just the each color in themselves, but the three Primary colors represent a basis for infinite possibilities, as well as being the most necessary colors within the color spectrum.
