The first edition of Utah's Economic Patterns, published in December 1953, was distributed to social science teachers in Utah's high schools and colleges and to leaders in education and business. From these leaders have come a number of suggestions for this revised edition. The purpose of this book is to provide information about Utah for (a) students and teachers in Social Science and other classes at the high school and college level, (b) teachers in Social Science classes of the grammar school level, (c) management of industrial and commercial companies in Utah, (d) others with vital interests in Utah's development and (e) officials of government at various levels. |
