Image of Crazy Patch quilt created in 1840-1850 by Jessie Eileen Fuller Fenstermaker. Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by Teresa Phillips as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. These four different blocks were found in Jessie's things when age & poor health dictated she could no longer live alone. The wedding ring may Howe been started after she received one from her sisters about 1928. The origin of the others is unknown for sure. but may even have come from her mother in law Novella or her step aunt, Cora Gray Thompson. |
