It is also symbolic of our history and origins. Three mounts behind in white, the mounts or mountain as a direct representation of meaning of the name Utah (a high place); in heraldry mountains are also a symbol of security, shelter, and protection. White is a symbol of new beginnings, safety, faith and purity. A blue background. The color of the sky, blue is a symbol of strength and loyalty." |
