The symbols of the flag are representative of our beautiful, unique and diverse state. -The Beehive, the traditional symbol of Utah represents our heritage and industry. -The mountain opening of the beehive represents our strength as a state and as a people. -The blue represents the Great Salt Lake, which in itself is a symbol of the uniqueness of our state. -the ski tracks represent the history of recreation, the bounty of recreation and the future of recreation in Utah. -The orange/red represents the red rocks which add to diversity of the geography of our state, but also the diversity of our people. |
