The Wasatch Mountains The wasatch mountians are very important to the state of Utah because of outdoor recreation such as king, snow boarding, hiking, mountain climbing… We also rely on our mountains for natual resources. Wagon Wheel The wago wheel represents Western migration, and has direct ties to the Mormon Pioneers who settled Utah. And can be a symbol for anyone who calls Utah home who is a pioneer and their journey to get here. Sun, Dky, Earth, Nature These 4 symbols represent the 5 important native american tribes of Utah, Navajo, Shoshone, Ute, Paiute, and Goshute. The vibrant colors also represent the native American tribes Seagull The bird featured is a seagull the state bird of Utah. Geography of Utah The colors I chose represent varius parts of Utah. The red represents the Red Rocks of Southern Utah and some national parks. The white is the snow "greatest snow on Earth." The dark blue the great salt lake and our water. The yellow the big warm sun and Utah's classification as a desert. And the teal green the color of the sky, and color prevalant to the Native American tribes wo call Utah their home.
