The red represents courage, confidence, and determination, along with the red rocks of utah. The yellow/gold represents prosperity, rich economy, and energy. Utah also has copper mines. White represents peace and harmony. The beehive has long been a symbol of utah representing the community of people coming together to work, help, and support one another. Bees are busy creatures and the state motto is industry. Also fitting. Utah is well know for their ski mountains, but in addition to this, the three peaked mountain is a symbol of great abundance to native americans. |
