Cancer associated retinopathy syndrome (CAR Syndrome or Sawyer-Sellhorst Syndrome) (Ref: Sawyer, Sellhorst, Hoyt). Anatomy: Retina. Pathology: Oat cell carcinoma of the lung with paraneoplastic retinopathy. Diagnosis: Cancer associated retinopathy. Clinical: Progressive visual loss, progressive night blindness, and diffuse photopsias.
