Dr Bailey was born in 1896 in Imperial, Nebraska. Dr Bailey received his B.S. from the University of Nebraska in 1917 and his M.D. from Rush Medical College, Chicago in 1919. Dr Bailey did postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago and additional training in Vienna. Dr Bailey was on the staff of Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City from 1924-1965 and the consulting staff at the Salt Lake County General Hospital. Dr Bailey was Acting Head of the Department of Medicine from 1942-1955. Dr Bailey was Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University from 1943-1965. Dr Bailey died in 1995. |
