The letter is addressed to Dr. Aziz Atiya from The Trustees of Indiana University, dated November 7, 1956, and is signed by Herman B. Wells and Fenwick Reed. The content is the Trustees approval of Dr. Atiya's Vistiting Professorship on the Patten Foundation commencing about February 15, 1957, the length of his stay on campus, a weekly lecture schedule, and honorarium payment schedule. [The dates for honorarium payments are incorrectly listed as March 1, 1956 and March 15, 1956.] The dates should be 1957.
