After two years of negotiation, excavation for the new $67 million Primary Children's Medical Center began in 1986. While the university would provide the land, its faculty would serves as physicians working alongside Intermountain Healthcare house staff to enhance the treatment of complex pediatric problems and facilitate education for pediatric medicine. |
