"When I lived outside of Utah, I missed the large blue skies, so the blue on top represents the big skies in Utah. The center color represents the color of the snow that is so important to us in the winters and the summers. The red at the bottom represents the red rocks in Southern Utah. The yellow in the middle represents both a beehive that hearkens back to Utah's heritage (Deseret) and the bright sun that helps us feel happy, which is something Utahns are also known for." |
