The five stripes represent the tribes of the First Peoples within Utah's borders - Shoshone, Ute, Piute, Goshute, and Navajo. Blue represents Loyalty and Justice; White represents Virtue and our snow-capped mountains; Gold represents honey referencing our state motto Industry." |
