The "U" represents Utah and unity, which surrounds the symbolic mountains done in the colors of the Native American medicine wheel. The red also represents the red rocks of southern Utah, while the white represents Utah's famous snow-capped peaks. The yellow refers to the golden spike--the crossroads of the west--while the yellow/black combination is a nod to bees. |
