Description The primary aim of this qualitative research study was to evaluate the menstruation education experience of nursing and health science faculty. This study asked faculty to reflect on their formal and informal menstruation education experiences throughout their lives and discuss their subsequent feelings and perceptions as adults and health care professionals. Ten voluntary faculty participants filled out a demographics survey and participated in semi-structured interviews on the topic of education experiences and impacts on current practices as educators and clinicians. Faculty experiences were evaluated and compared to Bronfenbrenner's ecological model. The variety of faculty experiences show the lack of consistent menstruation education and gaps for future research and advocacy.
