Image of Star quilt created about 1889 by Eliza Anne Blackburn Hughes. Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by Maxine Mition as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from days held from 1988-1994. This quit was made as a wedding gift for Solon Marianas Conrad Hughes (called "SMC") & Ella Thomas, on 7 May 1889 in Hall, Montana. The quilt was apparently made in Missouri and sent to Montana for her son's marriage. |
