It is symbolic of wisdom, tranquility, protection and hope, which are all attributes that Utah aspires to. The squared geometric shapes are reminiscent of Native American designs, and represent the coming together of diverse people to face the future with hope and strength. The circle inside of the square represents the foresight and creativity of Utahns in finding unique solutions to the problems inherent in living in a pluralistic society." |
