This Flag is designed with 4 colors. The red signifies sacrifice, hard work, and Life. The red field is central to this flag, and the people of Utah are central to its success. White is the second majority color. This color signifies purity and hope. The half honey comb to the left of the flag represents industry and the pointed edge of the honey comb gives direction. This direction is forward. The industries of utah are always moving forward and are on the cutting edge of technology. The triangle shape on the right side of the flag represents the snow capped tops of the mountains. this represents Utahs culture of hope. The Blue panel represents Utahs natural resources. The shape and color are a direct similitude of the mountains and waters. The rust colored base panel, concluded with a geometric arch, represents the diverse environments found in utah. This also shows the diversity of people from the native people to the recent immigrants and everyone in between. The conclusion of the arch represents the delicate arch as recognized across the world. This flag is a literal representation from mountain tops to the desert floor.
