The meaning of the colors on my flag are, Blue represents, the sky, truth, loyalty, freedom, peace, and justice. This color symbolizes many things about this state. Yellow, gold, sun, light, hope, freedom and Sand/ desert. Yellow is a very important color because it brings joy or happiness to Utah. Lastly, Red, blood, courage strength/ power, the struggle for independence. All of these colors are highly important to Utah symbolizing the things that our ancestors went through to get us where we are today. The Beehive is symbolizing Utah as a state because we are the Beehive state. The sego lily is our state flower. The American Flag is there to say that we are on of the 50 states and we are here to stay |
