The birdsmouth design of the flag represents Utah's rugged landscape. The orange should be crayola's "Bee-Utah-ful" color which represents the stunning red rock of the state, the three hexagons are a nod to the historic industry of the people of Utah, symbolized by the beehive, and within the hexagons are a snowflake (representing outdoor recreation), an integrated circuit board (representing current industry), and the Utah tree (representing the arts)-all found in Utah. The golden triangle represents Utah agriculture. |
