My design has the mountains, which are a big part of Utah, as we are surrounded by them. The mountains have a path coming over them. The path is red, this signifies the beautiful red, iron-filled rocks we have all over Utah. The path also signifies the trail that the pioneers came on to get to Utah and in this way, the red color represents the blood spilled and sacrifices made to come to Utah. It has 15 peaks and 3 colors, 15 multiplied by 3 is 45, and we were the 45th state to join the United States. I know my design is a little messy, and the lines could be straighter, but I didn't have access to a high-quality art program, so I tried my best. |
