The red is for the Red Rock of Utah. The white goes along with the mountains and the snow covered mountains of Utah. There is also the reflection of the mountains as if in a lake representing the Great Salt Lake and other lakes of Utah. The yellow goes along with the hexagons to represent a honeycomb reflecting back to the beehive on the original flag and its meaning as Utahs community and its idea of Industry. |
