This is a woman who was diagnosed with a right sided glomus tumor, and subsequently underwent resection. Seen here are multiple cranial neuropathies related to the tumor itself as well as to the surgery. She cannot abduct the right eye due to a right CN VI palsy. She has a right lower motor neuron facial palsy due CN VII injury. There was an absent afferent limb of the gag reflex on the right, indicative of right CN IX injury. There was palatal weakness on the right with deviation of the palate/uvula to the left, indicative of right CN X injury. Finally, there was atrophy of the right side of the tongue with rightward tongue deviation with protrusion, indicative of right CN XII injury.
