Description The American armed forces veterans have served to honor and protect our country. They have practiced their beliefs in freedom, honor, and pride. Their sacrifice has written history and as Americans, we honor these patriots who are giving the ultimate sacrifice As more veterans return from war they need the health care and benefits that have earned. Society does not realize the positive impacts these veterans bring to the table. In this paper, I will emphasize the economic impact of federal budget cuts that are effecting veteran benefits. The impact is enormous, and in many cases negative. The federal budget cuts are impacting the social lives of today's veterans. Furthermore, the cost analysis will demonstrate how the VA program can help veterans maintain suitable employment. The essay focuses on how the budget cuts, which are leaving veterans behind (such as being homeless, suicide, and no education). To help veterans-and the micro level -lawmakers should focus on not cutting founds from the Deportment of Veteran Affairs.
