Description |
My simple design represents Utah's nature, economy, standard and unity. Being raised in Utah, I fell in love with the outdoors. I gained an appreciation for nature, especially for bees. Bee's are an essential part of a healthy ecosystem and give us many of the foods we eat. Without them, the world would struggle immensely. That is why I chose the bee to be on the flag. The bee represents our economy and comradery. Like bees, we work together to contribute to a greater good and help each other. The Red wing on the bee represents Utah's vibrant community energy and red rock desert. The Blue wing represents loyalty to each other and beautiful blue skies. The bee's abdomen is yellow to symbolize Utah's exceptional standard to the rest of the world. The background colors of the flag are red, white and blue representing America and how we (the bee) stands out. |
