The sego lilly represents peace, harmony, resilience, hope, and high standards and ideals. Likewise, the colors represent these traits as well as warmth and welcome with blue reflecting the state gem of topaz and the radiant orange-gold representing the state mineral of copper. The overall design is meant to connote the future tense of the messages and wisdom of the past with clean lines and bright and welcoming centering by the honeycomb hexagonal frame that also reflects the idea of hard work, unity and strength. |
