Description |
Dr Stensaas was born in Oakland, California in 1939. Dr Stensaas received her B.A. from Pomona College (1959); M.A. from UCLA. (1962) and Ph.D. from the University of Utah (1975). Since 1969, Dr. Stensaas was continuously associated with University Departments of Anatomy and Neurobiology and Anatomy. Dr Stensaas held a teaching appointment from 1990-1999, at Cornell University Medical Center in New York City. Dr Stensaas has long been involved with integrating technology into teaching and is responsible for the success of the Slice of Life videodisc and software programs and the Slice of Life Workshops which were held from 1989-2007. Dr Stensaas retired as Emeritus Professor of Neurobiology and Anatomy in 2012. |
