Dr Skolnick was born in Temple, Texas in 1946. Dr Skolnick received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1968 and his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1975. Dr Skolnick studied genetic epidemiology at the University of Utah in collaboration with the Departments of Medical Informatics, Biology, Cardiology and Genetics. Dr Stolnick was elected a Fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association in 1990. Dr Stolnick was Adjunct Professor of Medical Informatics at the University. Dr Stolnick was a Scientific Founder of Myriad Genetic and served as it Chief Scientific Officer, Executive Vice President of Research and Development and Director from 1991-2010. |
