The oil will be removed by solvent extraction and/or retort methods. The crude will then be stored at a central tank battery facility for subsequent transportation via trucks to the Utah-Arizona Fuels' refinery which is located west of the town of Roosevelt, Utah. The regolith and processed sands will eventually be returned to the mined out area, leveled and revegetated. |
