Description |
We present a case of a 33-year-old patient with an undiagnosed placenta percreta. When a caesarean section was began due to fetal late deceleration of heart tones massive hemorrhaging began. An emergent hysterectomy and the use of the mass transfusion protocol were both effective in treating and eventually controlling the hemorrhage. The post-operative period progressed without further incidents. |
