Typescript of a biographical sketch of Samuel Kendall Gifford of Springdale, Utah, from information by son Moses Elias Gifford. Samuel K. Gifford, born in New York State in 1821, and his family went west to Missouri as early Mormon converts. He went to Utah in 1850 and settled at Manti, Sanpete County, and Rockville, Shunesburg, and Springdale, Washington County. Typed by Donald K. Walker of Saint George in 1941 |
