Red represents the famous red rocks of southern Utah, it can also be seen as a sunset falling over the mountains. The Navy Blue represents the Great Salt Lake, as well as being a nod to the previous Utah flag. The white line represents the snow capped mountains of Utah, as well as being a simplified line of the trail the pioneers took to get from Illinois to Utah. The Beehive symbolizes the Utah community, as we all strive to create a better and more successful industry. The Sego Lily is Utah's state flower and symbolizes peace.
