The symbols are all representative of several Utah state images These include the states capitol, the state tree (quaking aspen), sego lily, and the delicate arch. The two flags to the left of the main design are representative of several flag designs that have previously been in use. However, they also include the state motto (right) and the Utah's iconic phrase "Life elevated" (left). And finally the several shades of blue are representative of Utah's people's determination, hope, fidelity, and truth. The yellow represents health, hope, and happiness while the rest of the other colors are symbolically accurate. |
