Dippel, A. Louis, M.D.

Dr Dippel was born in Ahlinger, Texas in 1901. Dr Dippel received both his B.A and M.S from the University of Texas in 1924. Dr Dippel received his M.D. in 1928 from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr Dippel was Instructor and Associate Professor in Obstetrics at Johns Hopkins University from 1934-1940. Dr Dippel was an Associate Professor of Obstetrics at the University of Minnesota from 1940 to 1943. Dr Dippel was Professor and Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University from 1943-1944. Dr Dippel returned to Texas as Professor of Obstetrics at Baylor University Medical College and Lecturer at University of Texas Medical School at Galveston and later the Chief-of-Staff at the Hermann Hospital in Houston until his retirement iin 1977. Dr Dippel died in 1991.
