Description |
Acute hand and upper extremity injuries represent 30% of our new patient visits, of which 10% require urgent surgery. The current ability of the hand team to quickly see urgent hand injuries in clinic is limited by scheduling and communication barriers. This may lead to compromised patient outcomes and satisfaction, loss of patients to other providers, and loss of revenue. |
